Everything you need to set up Aperture, protect your recovery phrase, and move funds with confidence.

Getting started

  • Create a wallet. Generate a brand-new recovery phrase on your device and set a name.
  • Import a wallet. Restore from a 12- or 24-word recovery phrase, a private key, or watch any address (view-only).
  • Lock the app. Turn on Face ID or a passcode so only you can open Aperture.

Back up & recover

  • Back up your phrase. Write the words down, store them offline, and never photograph them. Aperture keeps no copy — it’s the only way to restore your wallet.
  • Restore on a new phone. Install Aperture, choose Import, and enter your recovery phrase.
  • Lost or stolen phone. Your funds stay safe as long as you have your phrase. Restore anywhere and, if needed, move funds to a fresh wallet.

Send & receive

  • Receive. Share your address or QR code, making sure you pick the right network.
  • Send. Paste or scan an address, choose the network fee, review the details, and confirm with Face ID.
  • Track a transaction. Watch it move from pending to confirmed in Activity.

Stay safe

  • Revoke approvals. Review token allowances and connected sites, and cut off anything you don’t recognize.
  • Avoid scams. Aperture will never ask for your recovery phrase. No one legitimate ever will.
  • Verify the app. Install only from the App Store and confirm the open source yourself.
