Frequently asked

Is Aperture really non-custodial?+
Yes. Your private keys are generated and encrypted on your device. Aperture never transmits, stores, or has access to them — which also means we can never recover them for you. Your recovery phrase is your only backup.
What happens if I lose my phone?+
As long as you saved your recovery phrase, you can restore every wallet on a new device. Without it, funds cannot be recovered by anyone, including us — that is the nature of self-custody.
Which networks are supported?+
24 networks across the Bitcoin family, EVM chains, and major non-EVM Layer-1 ecosystems — including Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, BNB Chain, Base, Polygon, Arbitrum, Optimism, Avalanche, TRON, TON, XRP, zkSync Era and more.
Do I need to create an account?+
No. There are no accounts, emails, or sign-ups. You create or import a wallet and you are ready — nothing about you is sent to a server.
Is my data tracked?+
No analytics that identify you, no selling of data, no tracking. Balances are read from public chains; your keys stay on your device.
How do I import an existing wallet?+
Open Aperture, choose Import wallet, then pick Recovery phrase, Private key, or Watch-only. Keys are imported locally.

Still stuck?

Email care@aperturex.io with your device model and iOS version. Never share your recovery phrase or private keys — Aperture support will never ask for them, and anyone who does is trying to steal your funds.
