Aperture is self-custodial and runs on your device — the app keeps working even if our website or any data provider goes down. This page tracks the public services it can talk to.

Current status

App (on-device wallet) — Operational. Works offline; no server is needed to hold your keys or sign transactions.
Website (aperturex.io) — Operational.
Price & market data — Operational.
Network indexers (balances & broadcast) — Operational. You can also point Aperture at your own node.
App Store distribution — Operational.

Why Aperture stays up

Because your keys live on your device and there is no custody server, an outage of any third-party data source never puts your funds at risk. At worst, balances or prices refresh a little late — and you can always send and receive directly against your own node.
